It has been an honour working for such a prestigious international event and with some of Scotland’s finest creative talent.

STEPHEN KEARNEY

Stephen Kearney is delighted to be the Official Photographer for The Scottish Fashion Awards 2008. As one of Scotland’s leading fashion and lifestyle photographers, his innovative flair has graced countless fashion editorials. He contributes regularly for leading UK broadsheet newspapers and the national glossies and is extremely hands on with his shoots. His meticulous attention to detail whether relating to the location, the models hair or her accessories, leads Stephen to produce equisitely styled photographs that carry an air of nonchalance. He has indeed developed a signature with his ‘look’ that has resulted in this fashion maestro being in constant demand in the UK.

For the 2008 Scottish Fashion Awards Stephen shot the fashion editorial for the categories of ‘Scottish Young Designer of the Year’ and ‘Scottish Textile Brand of the Year’ that appear in this evening’s magazine. Shot on location at Scotland’s luxury boutique hotel Malmaison and indeed at the majestic Stirling Castle itself, Stephen has captured the essence of what the awards are all about. Cutting edge fashion from leading Scottish talents fused with history and heritage. These portraits are a celebration of what Scotland has to offer and we are delighted to present them this evening.
